Father of the modern chronometers, Breitling has always been a pioneer in watchmaking innovation and brevets.
In 1933 they patented a new system that allowed the user to stop and re-start time measuring without resetting the entire system.
Later on, another achievement was the legendary Navitimer which stetted a new standard for aviation watches.
This ‘50s iteration nicknamed Datora is a rare specimen made using the Venus 200 caliber that feature a chronograph with annual calendar function.
The production was low and to find these watches in great condition it’s hard.
The present Breitling ref.805 features a sharp stainless steel case with no scratches or damages, still retaining original sizes.
The original dial is flawless, with clear graphics and no sign of ageing.
Case: Stainless steel 38mm (n° 89x.xxx)
