Released in 1997 to celebrate 150 years of Cartier history, and hence produced in a limited edition of 150 pieces, this watch is a homage to the french watchmaker's flamboyant Art Deco designs. Encased in a yellow gold, 19x35mm case that's gently curved to hug the wearer's wrist, it is made extremely elegant by the clean lines.
The caliber 006 by JLC allows the winding to sit concealed on the back of the case, and similarly hidden are the lugs. The design integrates the clasp into the case, making this a very uncommon and original piece.
The dial, finally, is definitely Cartier, with a guilloché pattern inspired by the Maison's logo and the Cartier signature hidden into the ten o'clock marker.
Case: 19x35mm yellow gold (n° 0xx/150)
Movement: Manual, cal. 006 by JLC
