Heuer
Autavia Jo Siffert

Launched in 1969 the Heuer ref.1163 was the first Autavia to feature a self winding movement.
Formula 1 legend Jo Siffert was often spotted wearing this watch during races and that’s why the Autavia with white dial and blue hints are nicknamed after him.
Two different dials are known and hands down the most rare and valuable is the so-called “flat V” with blue hints not just on hour markers but also on hands tip.
The present specimen is offered in outstanding condition, with sharp case still showing all the satin-brushed finishing.
The “flat V” dial shows no marks or flaws, with all tritium dots still fresh and all graphics clear and legible.
Case: 42mm stainless steel
Movement: Automatic, cal.12, 17 jewels
Reference: 1163
Year: ca. 1970
