IWC
Romana

Of all the haute horlogerie brands, IWC is perhaps the most unjustly underrated. Generally remembered only for its military watches or large chronographs, many forget the remarkable complications the brand is capable of creating. This 'Romana' is the watch for changing your mind!
Introduced in 1994, it was, at the time, the thinnest self-winding perpetual calendar available on the market. Moreover, the 36mm diameter and the noble case material - platinum - make it extremely discreet, elegant and versatile.
The simple but well-balanced dial features Roman numerals in black and an uncommon detail for a perpetual calendar: the year display in full. The IWC movement is so refined that it shows the year precisely, without the need for corrections, up to 2499!
The watch is offered as a full set, complete with box, warranty and original documentation.
