Patek Philippe
Chronograph Perpetual Calendar

Introduced in 1986 and strongly advocated by then-president of the Maison Philippe Stern, the Patek 3970 is first and foremost a bet that was won: the bet that, in the midst of the decline of Swiss watchmaking, there could still be a market for a perpetual calendar chronograph.
History proved Stern right, enshrining the reference in the Olympus of Patek Philippe's most coveted timepieces and making it one of the most successful watches in the history of the maison. Moreover, the rapid rise in prices proves that vintage collectors are also discovering the 3970.
This example, belonging to the second series and encased in rose gold, represents one of the model's rarest and most fascinating configurations. Preserved in sensational condition, the watch comes with his own extract from the archive.
