Cosmograph Daytona "Tropical"

Some say that the dial is the most fascinating and important part of a watch. And while arguing in absolutes is difficult, in the case of this Rolex Daytona 6265, it certainly is true: born matte black, the dial has, in fact, developed a beautiful, perfectly uniform brown patina.
Located in 1972 by the serial number, this Daytona is undoubtedly one of the best examples of this reference we have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. In addition to the wonderful dial, the overall conditions are truly excellent. As was often the case at the time, the first owner chose not to keep the box and warranty, and so we present this exceptional specimen unaccompanied. But with a watch like this, who cares about a little paper and cardboard?
