Rolex
Datejust

Sports watches and stone dials seem to belong to two very different galaxies, yet Rolex has punctually proved the opposite for decades. This Lady Datejust, dated 1972, is one of the maison's first experiments on the theme, and it is a definitely successful one!
The yellow gold of the President case and bracelet blends perfectly with the deep blue of the lapis lazuli dial; the stone, cut and worked to perfection, shows no flaws; the natural texture of the material is fascinating, to say the least. As was often the case at the time, the first owner did not keep the box and warranty; the watch, however, has been kept in excellent condition.
