Lesser known, instead, is the fact that also Colonel Mu'ammar Gaddafi, once the most powerful ruler in northern Africa, asked and obtained customized watches by the most important Swiss brands.

The watch we offer today comes indeed from one of Gaddafi's commissions to Vacheron Constantin, and shows his name on the dial together with the writing - in Arabic - "Conqueror forever and father". The green aquamarine dial, a common feature of the Colonel's wathces, is perfectly preserved; likewise, the white gold case and bracelet are in perfect conditions.
