Audemars Piguet Royal Oak has been for years synonymous of high-ed sporty watches.
Originally designed by Gerald Genta, this model was launched in 1972 and took few years before stepping into the limelight because of its modern shapes and its high price.
The first model bore the reference 5402 and featured a 39mm case housing the automatic caliber 2121, the thinnest automatic caliber at that time.
Audemars Piguet introduced reference 15450 in 2012, replacing the former ref.15300, maintaining the usual and famed Gerald Genta design with a new decreased diameter of 37mm to fit smaller wrists.
The present specimen, cased in stainless steel, feature the iconic silvered tapisserie dial and is offered in mint condition, with no damages and no signs of polishing.
