Among all the Heuer Autavia’s production span, GMT’s are hands down some of the most valuable and collectible specimens out there.
Developed and produced in the early ‘60s, these watches were made to accomplish the new need of traveling around the world being able to check two time-zones at the same time.
The present specimen, featuring a fourth execution dial, it’s preserved in mint condition considering the tool-watch purpose of these kind of watches and so the careless behaviour of who used to be the wearer.
The dial is flawless with no signs of ageing, the case still retains all its correct sizes and both reference and serial number engravings are crisp and clearly legible.
Case: 40mm stainless steel (n° 10x.xxx) Movement: Manual, cal. Valjoux 724, 17 jewels Reference: 2446 Year: ca. 1967
